Summer Vibes. Since the majority of sunflowers in this field were already past their best, it wasn't easy to get good shots of of the field as a whole. So going low was the next best option. I actually really like how this photo turned out. The colours are fab, it almost looks like a pre-harvest mood kind of scene to me. Sunflower Sunburst. A single beautiful two-tone sunflower towering over the field. I nearly walked past this one as I was making my way down to the far end of the field, where the flowers were in slightly better condition than closer to the road. A Slice of Tuscany in Berkshire. More sunflowers from the other evening. Sunflower Sunset in Beautiful Berkshire. Who'd have thought you can find a slice of Tuscany in Reading 😉 I'm so glad I crawled out of the dark corner I was hiding in most of this weekend to join my wonderful photo friends @beautifullightuk and @chellepullen_photography for a wander around a local sunflower field. The heat and the crowds were too much for me this Bank Holiday weekend..
